We use the same process for properties you already own, helping you understand whether a mountain lot is buildable before you make larger plans or commitments.
We start with a free phone consultation to talk through the property, whether you already own it, and what to look out for based on what you can tell us — slope, access, and other red flags worth knowing about. If you'd like us to check the site ourselves, from there we schedule a paid on-site evaluation.
During the visit, we evaluate slope, access and driveway feasibility, septic and well suitability, and tree coverage ourselves. These conditions are especially important when evaluating mountain lots in Western North Carolina, where access and site conditions can vary significantly from one property to another.
In most cases, we can tell you on the spot whether the land appears buildable. If utilities at the Asheville-area property need to be double-checked, the evaluation may take a few additional days. When you are ready to move forward, our Build on Your Land process covers permitting, coordination, and construction.
