Custom Renovations
Hi, We're Wooded Mountain Builders

Custom Renovations

Every renovation starts with understanding how you actually use your home. Whether you're remodeling a single room or completing a whole-house renovation, our goal is to improve the way your home functions while making the construction process as smooth and organized as possible.

Let's Talk
About Us

Renovating an existing home is different from building a new one. Every project starts with a phone consultation followed by an in-person site visit, where we evaluate the existing home, discuss your goals, and build a plan around the way you live.

From there, we manage the entire renovation process while working to minimize disruption inside your home. We contain dust and construction mess whenever possible, communicate clearly throughout the project, and keep as much of your home functional during construction as we can.

Our experience ranges from individual room remodels to complete home renovations, including the restoration of a 2,560-square-foot, 120-year-old farmhouse in Asheville that balanced historic character with modern updates.

If you're planning a kitchen or bathroom remodel, visit our dedicated Kitchen Remodels and Bathroom Remodels pages for more detailed information about those services.

Scope & Planning

Every successful renovation starts with understanding the existing home. During our site visit, we evaluate the current layout, identify opportunities for improvement, and discuss any challenges before construction begins.

Many homes throughout Asheville, Weaverville, Black Mountain, Candler, and Hendersonville have unique characteristics that influence the renovation process. Taking the time to understand those conditions early helps create a realistic plan before work starts.

Renovation Process

Once construction begins, we coordinate every phase of the renovation while keeping homeowners informed through our client portal with day-to-day updates and weekly progress reports.

Renovations often uncover unexpected conditions once walls, floors, or ceilings are opened, especially in older homes. When that happens, we address the issue promptly, explain the options clearly, and communicate every step before moving forward.

Our goal is to keep the project moving efficiently while minimizing disruption to your daily routine.

Final Result

A successful renovation should feel like your home has always worked this way.

Whether we're updating a single room or transforming an entire house, we focus on creating spaces that function better, look cohesive, and fit the way you live today.
